Chapter 5: Supplies & Dog-Proofing
Just like babies, dogs need a safe environment. Dog-proof the area where they will spend most of their time:
Tape loose electrical cords to baseboards
Store household chemicals and medicines on high shelves
Remove toxic plants
Secure rugs and remove breakables
Set up the crate
Install baby gates
