💌 Love Notes for June

It's wild to think it's already June. May just might have been one of the hardest months for rescue. It's always tough to say no when so many dogs are in need of help.  

An investigation into a Northern California animal rescue and sanctuary has been weighing heavily on us this month. Our rescue had placed 2 dogs at this sanctuary late last year. As soon as we heard the terrible allegations of animal cruelty and abuse, we immediately jumped into action. Igor is now safe with the rescue, with a wonderful board and train program while we look to find the right family for him. Unfortunately, Blu, the other dog has not been found.

We remain committed as always to providing the best care and forever homes for our dogs. 

We have made 56 adoptions so far this year! None of this is possible without the support of our generous fosters, donors, and of course adopters. 

Meet Igor

Igor is clever, curious, and always looking for adventure just beyond the fence line. He has already completed training and is currently enrolled in an active training program specifically focused on his separation anxiety. He's putting in the work; now he just needs a home that will honor that effort. Igor does best with larger dogs and would thrive alongside a calm, confident canine companion. He is not a good fit for homes with small dogs or cats. Help share Igor! 

Remember Hugo?

Hugo is fully recovered from his surgeries and officially in board and train! This spunky guy is will be ready for his forever home in just a few weeks. We are so excited to see him thrive and be the amazing boy we always knew he would be. Learn more about Hugo here.
